BASIC MEMBERSHIP
Basic membership fees are currently 99 Euro for three years. Distinguished fellows are exempted. See table attached for other categories. Application to the treasurer should be made for company membership rates and for payment of membership.
RETIRED MEMBERS
Retired members pay a 50% fee from the renewal date after the EAVPT congress following their retirement from their academic post or ceasing all other employment. These members may also qualify for a reduction in the congress fees.

MEMBERSHIP GRADES
Associate Member
Any student or graduate with an interest in veterinary pharmacology or toxicology, on provision of a CV and nomination from two existing members in good standing. Does not need to be a veterinarian.
Member
Veterinarian with an interest and basic evidence of involvement in any clinical or research aspect of veterinary pharmacology or toxicology, on provision of a cv and nomination from two existing members in good standing.
Retired Member
Retired from any of the above categories pays 50% of the membership fees from the renewal date after the congress following their formal retirement form academic/ clinical or other paid employment (evidence requested)
Diplomate Member
Member of the European College of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology (automatic)
Distinguished Fellow
Awarded to members who have contributed significantly to the Association (automatic for all past Presidents and also may be awarded by a unanimous decree/ agreement of the Executive committee in a selected few additional cases of outstanding contribution to Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology and particularly qualifying through their significant service to the EAVPT. A maximum of one Distinguished Fellow may be selected by each executive. These Distinguished Fellows are recognised with a certificated award and future membership fees are waived in perpetuity.

- Can nominate a candidate for Distinguished Fellow
- May not participate in the nomination of the members of the Board

STUDENT MEMBERS
Individual enrolled in a program (PhD, Board..)
- Students pay 50% membership fees
